The company history
1999
Foundation by Hermann Hennen
Hermann Hennen, a graduate engineer, founds BLH GmbH with an initial staff of 23 to serve the local ventilation technology market.
2016
Change of management Oliver Hennen
Hermann Hennen retires and Oliver Hennen takes over the management. At the same time, the SIG Air Handling Group becomes a shareholder in the company.
2020
Extension of the new hall
In order to meet the strong demand for individual special constructions, a new production hall with 2000 m² is built. Here, well-trained employees can work on high-quality products on modern CNC machines and welding workstations.
2005
Expansion and move to the Pfalzel site
With almost 50 employees in the meantime, the space in the rented hall soon becomes too tight. With the new building on the greenfield site, the workflow can be improved and space created for future expansions.
2019
20th anniversary
With now more than 90 employees and Europe-wide activity, BLH has positioned itself as one of the leading suppliers of metal ventilation products on the market.
2020
Airvance Group
The Europe-wide Airvance Group with 1650 employees takes over the SIG Air Handling Group and thus also BLH GmbH. This allows BLH to benefit from group structures while continuing to respond to local customer needs.
